Upon joining the company, took ownership of the app's Proof of Concept (POC), overhauling its architecture by modernizing the tech stack, fixing critical bugs, rearchitecting the system, applying best design patterns, and adding new features to enhance functionality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Proposed and developed a framework for building Web Components with React, TypeScript, Tailwind, and Vite. This framework enabled the easy integration of React-based components into other projects in a technology-agnostic manner, significantly improving code reuse and development speed, which in turn contributed the company's content strategy and lead generation.
• Spearheaded the creation and development of an internal library of design system components, utilities, and other reusable assets, streamlining the implementation of consistent UI elements and code sharing across multiple projects via a NPM package.

Hinge Health is a fast-growing digital health company based in San Francisco, USA, pioneering the world’s most patient-centered Digital Musculoskeletal (MSK) Clinic. At the Onboarding pod, contributed to improving onboarding and retention rates through data-driven product development for the client-facing mobile app.

• Acted as Technical Project Lead and Co-lead of feature development and technical projects, collaborating with Product Managers and Designers to de-risk, plan, and execute cost-effective solutions. Focused on clear communication, UX details, and making strategic trade-offs between requirements and effort.
• Drove efforts to enhance app performance, reduce complexity, and optimize the onboarding feature - one of the highest-priority elements for the success of the business and its patients.

I collaborated in both the client-facing web-mobile shared codebase and the back-office systems, helping empower teachers, students and schools to potentialize their learning achievements.

Key outcomes:

• Collaborated on creating a feature for school coordinators that provided valuable insights into student performance, helping identify at-risk students, communicate with parents, and support teachers. By leveraging data from our platform, the feature delivered actionable insights in a user-friendly format, enabling quick, impactful decisions.
• Worked with a team dedicated to improving the back-office system, streamlining the process of inputting and editing courseware content. This effort enhanced the flexibility and efficiency of managing educational materials, contributing to the system’s overall user experience.
• Resolved a security vulnerability exploited by students to access homework answers by inspecting request payloads. Implemented a solution that involved rearchitecting the content generation, storage, and delivery process, including encrypting sensitive data to ensure secure access.

Created and structured the Marketing department, then built and managed a team responsible for the company's communications, sales marketing & branding, public relations, sponsorships & social responsibility, and internal marketing (endomarketing). As the company expanded, took on the responsibility of managing the Marketing & Sales team, overseeing roles from designers to engineers. Implemented a set of digital tools to improve company-wide productivity, including Slack for internal communication, Weekdone for OKR tracking, and Zoho CRM for sales management. Additionally, introduced the Predictable Revenue methodology, also known as "sales machine".

Research Thesis: “BPS (Building Performance Simulation) and BIM (Building Information Modeling) integration research: A Systematic Review”

Completed my Master’s at one of the top universities in the world and the leading institution in Latin America for Architecture and Urban Planning. My research focused on the integration of Building Performance Simulation (BPS) and Building Information Modeling (BIM), exploring how these technologies can work together to improve building design, performance, and sustainability. The thesis involved a systematic review of current methodologies, tools, and case studies, aiming to highlight challenges and opportunities for more effective collaboration between BPS and BIM. This work contributed to advancing knowledge on how integrated digital technologies can optimize energy efficiency, environmental performance, and overall building lifecycle management, making a meaningful impact on the future of architectural practice.

Participated in an academic exchange program at one of France's leading architecture schools. At ENSAG, I collaborated with both local and international students on innovative architectural projects, where we explored cutting-edge generative design technologies. The exchange allowed me to engage with diverse cultural perspectives on architecture, enriching my approach to design and expanding my understanding of how digital tools can enhance architectural creativity and problem-solving.
